Biography

Richie Rollins, also know as the Happy Day Warrior, is an actor from Detroit, Michigan.

Richie Rollins was born in Avon Township Michigan. He studied acting at Goteri Creative, Michigan Actors Studio, Second City Detroit, and ComedySportz Detroit. Richie has performed on stage in the Detroit area and has appeared in many Independent movies. He is best known for “Last Chance Film Festival” and “Brain Engagement.” Richie currently works on a local CW 50 show in Detroit called “Comics Beer and SciFi,” where he has had the privilege of interviewing stars such as Danny Trejo, Shannon Elizabeth and Ernie Hudson.

Richie’s interest in acting began at a young age while attending Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan. Mrs. Gibson, a creative arts teacher, recognized Richie’s talent and encouraged him to be active in theatre. After high school, Richie played amateur baseball for a few years. When Richie realized his dream of playing Major League baseball was not going to work out, he took classes in acting at Oakland Community College where he studied under Wallace Smith. Richie has many years of acting experience and is passionate about perfecting his craft.
